The performance of wireless communication is limited by the radio channel. The medium between the transmitter and receiver can vary from a clear Line of Sight to one that is severely obstructed by high towers, hills, or mountains. The wireless communication channel is extremely random and is thus very hard to analyze, the propagation models are needed to solve this issue.
The propagation models are models that focus on predicting the received signal in a certain separation destination between the receiver and the transmitter
